3:00 – Meet at New Farm Park

3:30 – Ceremony begins

4:00 – Celebratory drinks and fun in the park

4:45 – Bus departs to the reception

5:00 – Arrival at Netherworld for dinner, drinks, and games.

7:00 – Cake, speeches, & toasts

7:30 – Dancing and nonsense ’til late.

Arrive to the Rotunda at New Farm Park at 3PM, to make sure you’re on time for the ceremony kicking off at 3:30PM!

It’s a wedding!

Dress semi-formal to formal. Wear what you want. Be comfortable! But try to look nice!

The ceremony will be outdoors in June, so remember to bring a jacket or coat as it may be cold.

Please, do not wear white or any shades of white. You do not want to anger the bride.

Brisbane in June is usually sunny and around 20 degrees. It will start to get cold around sunset.

The Ceremony at New Farm Park is outside, but we will have a contingency plan in case of rain.

The Reception at Netherworld is obviously indoors.

We have booked a bus to take us from New Farm Park to Netherworld. It will depart New Farm Park at 4:45pm.

Those who are driving to the reception should leave at the same time to meet us at Netherworld at 5pm.

For the Ceremony, there is a lot of parking available at New Farm Park, and there should be plenty of spots available on a Monday afternoon.

For the Reception, there is not reliable street parking available nearby.

However, the nearby Valley Metro Secure Parking is only $10 when booking online, as long as you park after 4PM, and leave before 4AM the next day:

Children are welcome to attend the Ceremony, but we ask that alternate arrangements are made for the Reception.

We will not be serving any food at the Ceremony in New Farm Park, so make sure you have lunch before you arrive.

At Netherworld, food will be available to order à la carte from the regular diner menu from 5PM.

The cost of your dinner will be covered.

We’ll have a bar tab running which will cover basic drinks (probs no shots or cocktails) until we run out of money.

Then you’re on your own.

We will try our best to have the bar stocked with plenty of pisco.

Monday is the only day of the week that Netherworld can be booked for private functions.

Yes, karaoke will be available at Lost Souls in Netherworld.

However, in order to make sure that the party doesn’t become divided between those in the main bar and those in the karaoke rooms, we will keep the karaoke rooms closed until later in the night (maybe from 9PM).

On Tuesday (the day after the wedding) we are planning to have a hangover party at the Merthyr Bowls club, with lunch and barefoot bowls.

We will do our best to have all ‘official’ parts of the Ceremony and Reception spoken in both English and Spanish.

New Farm Park and Netherworld are close to the centre of Brisbane.

Getting a taxi to the Ceremony, and then joining the bus to the Reception is likely the best option for those who are not from Brisbane.

We recommend finding a hotel or BnB around: New Farm, Teneriffe, Newstead, Brisbane City, South Brisbane, or Fortitude Valley, to ensure easy travelling to and from the wedding, and easy access to public transport while you are visiting our beautiful city.
